Summary: We report results from a clinical study examining the effects of ArginMax on male sexual function in a group of men diagnosed with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. ArginMax (The Daily Wellness Company) is a dietary supplement consisting of a highly standardized combination of ginkgo biloba, Korean ginseng, American ginseng, L-arginine, vitamins A, C, E, B6, and B12, folate, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, pantothenic acid, zinc, and selenium.
In our pilot study, twenty-five (25) participants enrolled through a urology clinic were evaluated over a 4-week period while on a twice-a-day regimen of ArginMax. Subjects were enrolled consecutively. The study was open to all individuals previously diagnosed with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. Ages ranged from 40-77. Subject progress was measured using a Sexual Function Questionnaire (SFQ) consisting of validated sexual function and quality of life scoring measures. Following four weeks of a daily regimen of ArginMax, twenty-one (21) subjects that completed the regimen were evaluated.
88.9% of the subjects experienced improvement in ability to maintain an erection during intercourse.
75.0% of the subjects experienced improvement in satisfaction with their overall sex life.
No significant reports of side effects including headaches, nausea, stomach upset, changes in blood pressure, disturbed vision, chest pain, or dizziness were noted.
Several studies report on the effectiveness of various individual ingredients contained in ArginMax. Below is a list of journals and summaries of the studies published by them:
